With temperatures hovering (way) below freezing lately, we thought it might be a good time to share some of the warmth spread by Jewish Detroit last month.
This past Christmas, our Community Relations Department held its annual Mitzvah Day. Volunteers fanned out across Detroit—preparing meals, delivering gifts, visiting seniors and supporting other nonprofits so their staff could spend the holiday with loved ones.
Take a look at some photos from the day and get ready for a few Mitzvah warm‑and‑fuzzies.
