Beginning the week of January 14, and for the next 6-8 weeks, the Jewish Federation, in cooperation with local synagogues, foundations, and Jewish agencies, will be conducting a community study to:
- Provide critical information concerning who we are, where we are, what we are thinking and where we are headed
- Identify the crucial needs in our community
- Help us create a roadmap for all Jewish communal organizations and foundations to address, plan for, and serve Jewish needs and interests for years to come
Our last comprehensive study was completed in 2005. Our community has changed. Help us understand how and why. Your participation is critical to the success of this study.
The interviewers will not know and will not ask your name or address. No personally identifiable details are linked to the answers and no financial solicitations will be made.
If the time we call is not convenient, please answer and ask to reschedule for a time that works for you.
The study is under the direction of Dr. Ira M. Sheskin, University of Miami, who has conducted more than 50 studies of this nature throughout the country. The calls will come from SSRS, a major research company responsible for the surveys done by organizations such as Harvard University and the Pew Research Center.
