Elaine and Michael Serling Israeli Camper Program

Since 2002, over 1,600 Israeli campers and 500 host families have shared unforgettable summers through the Israeli Camper Program—a partnership between Federation, Tamarack Camps and Michigan’s Partnership2Gether region. This cultural exchange strengthens Jewish identity and builds lasting Israeli-American friendships through shared experiences  

Thank you for your interest in being a host family this summer! For many of our campers it’s their first trip outside of Israel and away from their parents, and a warm, welcoming host family is vital to their Michigan experience.

Host family applications for the summer of 2025 are now being accepted, with potential participants contacted in April.
