Let’s find you a seat at the table! Join NEXTGen Detroit for Entrée 2025 and
get a taste of everything that Jewish Detroit has to offer!
Over four sessions, we’ll introduce you to NEXTGen Detroit, Federation, our
network of partner agencies and the many flavors and facets of Jewish Detroit.
Meet other young adults **and** community leaders. Learn about local resources
**and** programs. Hear how you can get involved **and** give back in Jewish
Detroit.
Entrée is intended for young adults ages 21 to 39.
Dietary laws observed at all sessions.

**Session 1: Bold Leadership**
March 18 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM
We’ll start with a candid conversation with Federation’s CEO Steven Ingber,
NEXTGen Detroit Director Tomer Moked and NEXTGen Detroit President Spencer
Lucker. Learn about Federation’s work as an umbrella organization that
supports 16 local and three overseas Jewish agencies, our current challenges
and goals and how we are working to take care of the needs of our community’s
most vulnerable members and build a vibrant Jewish future. Meet the leaders
who are making it happen, and learn how to start your journey into Jewish
leadership.
**Session 2: Diverse Experiences**
March 25 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Get a look behind-the-scenes at the event-planning powerhouse that is NEXTGen
Detroit. Meet the staff who make all the happy hours, fundraisers, networking
events, holiday celebrations and nights out on the town happen. Learn why we
double down on events and programs as a way to build community and our
strategy behind building a calendar of things to do in Jewish Detroit.
**Session 3: Inspired Giving**
April 1 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Get inside info on Federation’s Annual Campaign, how we raise almost $40
million a year, where all that money goes and how it gets there. Meet a few of
our agencies and hear how Federation’s support allows them to impact countless
lives here in Detroit and around the world.
**Session 4: Find Your Seat at the Table**
April 8 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Now that you’re pretty much a Jewish Detroit connoisseur, it’s time to figure
out where you want to dig in. We’re laying out a spread of opportunities and
inviting you to get a sampling of ways you can get involved. Learn about
leadership opportunities, chairing events, joining committees, volunteering
with agencies and more.
