2025 Hanukkah-Diwali Celebration

Join the Community Relations Department of the Jewish Federation of Detroit
and the Hindu Community Relations Council for our annual Hanukkah-Diwali
celebration on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, from 6:00–8:30 PM.

Together, we honor Hanukkah and Diwali—two beloved holidays that celebrate the
triumph of light over darkness, and the shared values that unite our
communities.

Enjoy an evening of cultural exchange, shared traditions, delicious food, and
a candle-lighting ceremony that reflects our commitment to peace,
understanding, and friendship. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Prior to the program, all are welcome to join an optional tour of the Bhartiya
Temple worship spaces at 5:10 PM. If you plan to attend the tour, please
arrive no later than 5 PM.

(Please note: shoes may not be worn in the worship spaces and socks are
recommended.)
