This year’s report ranked almost 100 countries as to how citizens perceive themselves according to 6 variables: health and life expectancy, freedom of choices, freedom from corruption, GDP per capital, social support and generosity.

The US dropped to 18 and Finland, for the fourth consecutive year, rated first.
Perhaps in Israel, with abundant sunshine, a strong sense of family, a serious Covid vaccination campaign, socialized medicine and an overall sense of personal and national security has allowed Israelis to be fairly happy.
