NEXTGen Detroit Volunteers Committee
Create and participate in projects with fellow volunteers as you get involved and give back. We work with Repair the World to coordinate volunteer opportunities with a variety of local nonprofit partners.
NEXTGen Detroit PRIDE
Help make a welcoming gateway into the Jewish community for LGBTQIA young adults. We engage and embrace anyone looking for connection and a supportive atmosphere to explore everything Jewish Detroit has to offer.
NEXTGen Detroit Israel Committee
Share your love of Israel locally. We partner with the Federation’s Israeli shaliach and Israel and Overseas Department to organize creative and engaging Israel-oriented programs that explore and bring a taste of the culture, politics and people of Israel to our community.
NEXTGen Detroit Interfaith Couples
Help welcome, embrace and educate interfaith couples and their families. Rather than explicitly teaching how to “be Jewish,” we develop programs that support families as they explore how they can creatively and inclusively “do Jewish.”
NEXTGen Detroit Balance
Take part in promoting wellness and spreading mental health awareness. We plan programs that build community amongst Jewish young adults while taking a holistic approach to wellness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
NEXTGen Detroit Film Festival Committee
Let’s all go to the movies! We partner with the West Bloomfield JCC to pick a flick for NEXTGen Detroit to sponsor at the Lenore Marwil Detroit Jewish Film Festival. We will also explore opportunities to put on other film-related events.
