DESCRIPTION:Federation’s Maimonides Society is thrilled to partner with the Chaldean\nAmerican Association for Health Professionals (CAAHP) for a wine tasting and\nnetworking event. The Jewish and Chaldean communities have shared a long-\nstanding and meaningful relationship in Metro Detroit\, and we are excited to\ncelebrate and strengthen that bond with a fun evening out that brings these\ntwo communities together. Come meet fellow medical professionals\, talk shop\nand taste some delicious wines.\n  \n$36 per person includes dairy charcuterie appetizers\, wine and networking.\nDietary laws observed.  \n  \nThis event is intended for medical professionals. SUMMARY:All You Knead Is Love: A Rainbow Challah Bake
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Pride Month and join Affinities Pride at the Gesher Clubhouse for\nCommon Good for an evening of kneading and braiding brightly baked loaves of\nrainbow challahs. Our hosts\, Rachel Rosenthal (she/her) and Jad Nabbouh\n(he/him)\, will lead a hands-on workshop that will give us two beautiful\nchallahs — one to take and bake and one to gift to Gesher just in time for\nShabbat. We’ll nosh on pizza while our dough rises and hear a bit about\nGesher\, the Clubhouse for Common Good and the wonderful work they do for\nindividuals with mental health diagnoses. \n$18 includes challah making workshop\, a challah to take home\, pizza and soft\ndrinks. \nThis event is intended for teens and adults who identify as Jewish and\nLGBTQIA+.
