In a city and society marred by systemic housing injustice, what does it mean for us as Jews to celebrate our harvest festival by building and dwelling in intentionally vulnerable and temporary structures as spiritual practice? Hosted at the site of Sukkah X, a partnership between Hazon, Repair the World and NEXTGen Detroit, we’ll explore Sukkot-themed issues of housing and homelessness over dinner and interactive conversation, learning ways we can act for just housing in Detroit.
This event is at no cost to you due to the generosity of donors.
Kosher style food.
