December 10 December 17

This year, no one lights alone! NEXTGen Detroit has eight glowing nights lined up so we can all burn brighter together. Every evening, a new special guest will join us on Zoom to lead us in lighting the menorah and bring a unique way to celebrate the holiday!

Whether you’re lighting solo, with your family or with pod mates — we hope you’ll sign on for one or all eight nights!

Night 1: December 10 @ 5:00 PM
To kick off the first night right, we’ll be tuning in to the 10th Annual Menorah in the D event streaming live from Campus Martius in Detroit with Rabbi Yisrael Pinson of Chabad of Greater Downtown Detroit and Rabbi Kasriel Shemtov of The Shul. Note: Just for this night, a separate registration through the Menorah in the D website is required, which will get you one of their complimentary Lamplighter kits to help you enjoy the event even more at home.

Night 2: December 11 @ 7:00 PM
Rabbi Jennifer Lader of Temple Israel and Rabbi Jeff Stombaugh of The Well
Followed by Kabbalat Shabbat services.

Night 3: December 12 @ 6:00 PM
Rabbi Yonatan Dahlen of Congregation Shaarey Zedek
With Havdalah before menorah lighting.
