August 6, 2020 @ 8:00 PM 9:00 PM

Celebrate the Jewish Day of Love, Tu B’Av, with NEXTGen Detroit, Chabad of Greater Downtown Detroit and Hillel of Metro Detroit by creating some super sweet chocolatey treats! Jodie Polk and Jessica Barris of Culinary Combo will show us how to transform a couple of our favorite everyday snacks into chocolate covered works of edible art. We’ll also learn some fun facts about the holiday of Tu B’Av, which falls on August 5th this year, including how it made its way on the Jewish calendar so many years ago and how it’s celebrated today.

Our chocolate making kits have sold out, but you can still participate!

Here’s how:
1) Register below and let us know you’ll be signing on to Zoom for the event.
2) Grab these supplies and have them handy:

  • Meltable white chocolate
  • Meltable dark chocolate
  • Bag of pretzels
  • Bag of cookies
  • Cream cheese (any kind, dairy or non-dairy)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Mixing spoon or spatula

This online event is intended for young adults ages 18 to 45.
