Oak Park JCC Community Forum – Parking Information

January 12, 2015 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

For those who will be attending Monday evening’s Community Forum, we kindly request that you consider parking offsite, unless you have a handicap that necessitates parking close to the Center building. We hope to reserve parking at the Center for those who have special needs.

Offsite parking is available at the Yeshiva Beth Yehudah Girl’s Elementary School, the Yeshiva Beth Yehudah Preschool, Temple Emanu-El and Young Israel of Oak Park. Heated buses from several of these locations will take Forum participants to the Center and then back to their vehicles after the event.

Bus pick-up and drop-off locations are:

  • Yeshiva Beth Yehudah Girl’s Elementary School, 14390 West 10 Mile Road – Oak Park
  • Yeshiva Beth Yehudah Preschool, 14400 West 10 Mile Road – Oak Park
  • Temple Emanu-El, 14450 West 10 Mile Road – Oak Park

Parking attendants will be in the above lots to help Forum participants as needed and direct traffic. Look for the yellow signs. Parking also will be available around the Prentis and Mondry buildings on the Oak Park JCC Campus, although busing from those buildings to the Center is not possible.

Shuttles will be running at 5:30 p.m.

Based on the RSVP’s we’ve received for the Forum, we have ample room to accommodate the audience. However, in the event we have a larger than expected turnout that may put us in violation of fire safety regulations, we may need to ask those not yet in the gym to attend a Tuesday evening meeting instead.

We look forward to seeing you at the Community Forum.
