Get Help If You Need It, Give Help If You Can
Monday’s historic rainstorms left many in our area underwater and overwhelmed.
Need assistance? See the resources below.
Want to lend a hand? Thank you. You can help to make recovery possible.
Volunteer to Help
The Jewish relief agency Nechama is on the ground in our community and partnering with Jewish Family Service to identify needs and reach out to those requiring assistance.
Nechama is seeking volunteers to help community members recover from the devastating floods. If you can help, please visit www.nechama.org.
For Those In Need: The Jewish Assistance Network
The Jewish Assistance Network is a resource for all members of our community who are in need of help. We provide a wide range of programs and have partnerships with many other organizations in the region who provide different forms of assistance. You can reach the Resource Center at 248-592-2650.
Check with your local municipality regarding the possible availability, and process to apply for, FEMA assistance.
