July 21, 2014 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit announces a community-wide Israel Solidarity Event this coming Wednesday, July 23, 7:30 PM at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield.

Federation, the Jewish Community Relations Council, the Michigan Board of Rabbis and several other community organizations are working together to produce the event, which will be held on behalf of all of Jewish Detroit.

The purpose of the event is for us to gather as a community to offer an expression of our unwavering support and commitment for our fellow Jews now living under attack by Hamas rockets. This will be an opportunity for us to stand together and assert our deep bond with the people of Israel. The Consul General of Israel to the Midwest will be speaking

Congregation Shaarey Zedek
