Statewide Outreach InitiativeFrom this page, you can download the 2008 grant application and other required documents for your community to take advantage of the generous grant money. The grant application is designed to be straightforward, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to eMail Jeff Surowitz or call him at (248) 914-1138. Jeff is available to help you coordinate your programs and provide you with other resources. You may submit completed grant applications by: eMail your completed application. FaxFax your completed application to (248) 645-7867, attn: Ravitz Grant Committee US MailMail your completed application to: Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit Thank you for participating in the Ravitz Small Michigan Jewish Communities Initiative 2008 Grant Cycle and for the hard work you do on behalf of your Jewish Community. The Ravitz Small Michigan Jewish Community Initiative grant funds Jewish programs/projects that seek to promote Jewish vibrancy and continuity within small Michigan Jewish communities outside of Oakland, Wayne and Macomb County, and portions of Washtenaw County served by the Jewish Federation of Ann Arbor. The purpose of these grants is to add to the Jewish life in your community. Existing programs are not eligible for funding from the Ravitz Small Michigan Jewish Community Initiative. You may consult the Initiative's Speakers Bureau and Jewish Program Index [PDF] for speakers and ideas on programming that fall within the purview of this grant; please note that you are not limited to this list in choosing a program for your community. They comprise some of the most talented and scholarly Jewish Educators and Leaders in the state of Michigan. The list is ucrrently being updated to include more varied programming options airmed a cultural and political activities.
