Shabbat Message for October 2

October 2, 2015 | Roz Blanck

Last Friday, about 47 women took a party bus from the Max Fisher Federation Building to Detroit for a special Day in the D sponsored by Young Women’s Philanthropy. YWP is led by four amazing women – Co-Chairs Regina Colton and Sherrie Singer, and Associate Chairs Suzanne Fellows and Sara Wohl. We had wonderful tours through the Compuware building and then throughout Bedrock Realty’s family of buildings.

Day in the D

Along the way, we received a history tour of our great city. We had a delightful vegetarian lunch at COLORS restaurant and dessert at Detroit Water Ice. The beautiful weather only enhanced our experience. This event sold out in a week! Look for more programming from YWP in the near future!
