Shabbat Message for November 20

November 20, 2015 | Roz Blanck

Special thank you to our STAR volunteers who came together, recruited for the upcoming Pomegranate event, and raised $48,000 for Federation’s 2016 Annual Campaign:
Betsy Appleton
Roz Blanck
Ruth Beitner
Pearlina Bodzin
Nancy Glen
Fran Newman
Leah Trosch

On Thursday, approximately 60 women came together for the Jewish Working Women’s Series annual fall program. Our special guest was community leader and well known attorney Harriet B. Rotter speaking on The 5 Best Friends Every woman must have. It was all about having an annual financial checkup each year and how women need to make sure they understand their finances as well as they understand their personal health. We learned a lot and Harriet gave us much to think about. Our next JWWS program will be in the spring. Stay tuned!

On behalf of everyone at Women’s Philanthropy, we wish you and your families a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday weekend! The Federation offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday of next week.
