Shabbat Message for May 9

May 9, 2014 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

Dear WP Supporters,

Even if you aren’t a mother, you are deserving of a hearty happy Mother’s Day greeting for the work and support you do to help others in our community. Mothers are warm, nurturing, loving and caring – which are exactly the attributes of the community work we all do each day. Our support nurtures the babies at the JCC Pitt Child Development Center, the inquisitive minds of Hillel Day School students, the teenagers running through Camp Tamarack and the elderly companionship at Jewish Senior Life. Our community “mothering” is vital to the cohesive nature of our wonderful Jewish “Family”.

Wishing you and your family a Sweet Shabbat Shalom,
