Shabbat Message for May 8th

May 8, 2015 | Roz Blanck

This week was all about leadership. The Women’s Solicitation and Leadership Development Chairs – Illana Greenberg, Linda Spigelman & Lori Weisberg – met to plan their summer series. Community Connections (our premiere leadership development program in WP) – Chaired by Sharyn Gallatin and Carolyn Tisdale had an incredible second session at JVS with the very popular JVS tour and presentations from JVS and Hebrew Free Loan. By the way – Coffee Talk has a program at JVS on May 14 that includes a tour – if you have never done this we strongly encourage you to sign up. It’s very impactful and might be just what you need for a “battery recharge” if you are a long-time community volunteer. Lastly, we had a Leadership Check-in with our Vice Presidents Sadly, it was our last VP meeting with Sue Curhan as her term expires as of the Annual Meeting. We look forward to her new role(s) in WP (you don’t think we’d let her get away, do you?) We also look forward to welcoming our two NEW Vice Presidents: Randie Sakwa and Sherrie Singer – as well as the return of Linda Spigelman for a second term.
