Shabbat Message for May 13

May 13, 2016 | Roz Blanck

Women’s Philanthropy’s Community Connections Program kicked off this week, with 25 women participating! This first session was all about our home base, the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. We learned about how our Federation works tirelessly to take care of the needs of the Jewish people and build a vibrant Jewish future. We visited Federation’s Leonard N. Simons Jewish Community Archives, heard from the Israel and Overseas and NEXTGen Detroit Departments, and heard from Federation’s incoming Chief Development Officer, Miryam Rosenzweig. Special thanks to our Co-Chairs, Pam Bloom and Susan Feber, Associate Chairs, Lisa Bronstein and Michal Korman, and Education Vice President, Linda Spigelman.
