Shabbat Message for June 12th

June 12, 2015 | Roz Blanck

“I never knew the multitude of community services made possible by support from Federation!” noted one of the 34 participants who completed the six-sessionCommunity Connections program this week. The final session culminated atJewish Family Service and included a presentation by the JFS professional team led by Perry Ohren and Debra Wolson Marcus. Participants also experienced the challenges of meeting local community needs through a mock allocation exercise. Thanks to Chairs Sharyn Gallatin and Carolyn Tisdale, Associate Chairs Pam Bloom and Susan Feber, and Vice President Sue Kaufman for their hard work in putting the program together.

If you are interested in participating in next year’s Community Connections or if you would like to learn more about the program, please let us know by emailing Toni Hayes at hayes@jfmd.org.
