Shabbat Message for July 31st

July 31, 2015 | Roz Blanck

This week was a busy one in Women’s Philanthropy! Our Board Engagement leadership: Betsy Heuer, Natalie Newman, Sue Curhan, and Karen Simmons met with Vice-President Randi Sakwa and the WP Leadership to brainstrom new and exciting ways to engage our Board members and to make the Board meetings more meaningful. Stay tuned for how they plan to bring the WOW!

We also met with Natalie Newman, Amy Shefman and Marci Shienbaum to talk about A Girlfriend’s Guide to Washington, D.C. – November 1-3,2015! The plans for the trip are taking shape and an amazing itinerary is in the works. Join us at one of the two upcoming information sessions (Aug. 5 at 10:30 a.m. and Aug. 11th at 7:30 p.m.) to find out more. Register for a session at jewishdetroit.org/dc

Also, the 2016 Pomegranate Co-Chairs, Amy Berlin and Fran Newman met to start brainstorming new and creative ideas for the Pomegranate Event in the fall. They are off to a strong start!
