Shabbat Message for January 3

January 3, 2014 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

2014 has blasted onto the scene with frigid temps and snowy streets tempting us to cocoon in our homes, which is exactly what I did on New Year’s day. I hope you are staying warm and safe during these Michigan winter days and for those of you in warmer climates, please enjoy some sunshine for us. In less than two weeks, hundreds of us will be bonding together at Congregation Shaarey Zedek (Jan. 14th @ 7pm) to hear the inspirational words of Laurie Ann Goldman, CEO of SPANX and Jewish/Community activist. I hope you can join us at this free event (for all donors of $365 and above). Please check out this website for more info and to register: http://jewishdetroit.org/event/sabra-the-thanx-event/

Wishing you and your family a Sweet and Peaceful Shabbat Shalom,

Lisa
