As Rabbi Norman Roman so aptly states in his D’var Torah (listed below), we are ONE FAMILY globally, nationally and locally. This notion epitomizes the reason we at Federation work so hard to help ease the suffering, heal the ill, loan the funds, educate the youth, entertain the mass… and raise the funds to provide all of these (plus more) services to our beloved community. To fulfill our mission, we must ensure that all who participate with us understand the complexities of Federation so we (in Women’s Philanthropy) offer many educational opportunities to help you (our supporters) feel comfortable with your contributions. If you’d like to participate in one of our learning opportunities, please hit reply to this email and we’ll make sure to get in touch with you. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the end of our Sukkot Holiday with Shemini Atzeret on Thursday and Simchat Torah on Friday. Federation will be closed both of those days.
