Shabbat Message for December 6

How can it be December already? It felt like summer was just yesterday. The seasons keep turning round and round… I hope it was a wonderful year for you. We certainly enjoyed it with the arrival of our first grandchild. Grandparenthood is awesome. We still have 3½ more weeks of 2013 and we are all working hard to secure the much needed funds to help sustain our community. The Federation 500 contest is underway to reach 500 donors by December 19th and our Women’s Philanthropy Team “The Call Girls” are revving up our engines. If you haven’t made your 2013 gift, now is the time to reply to this email and pledge any amount that feels right to you. It’s that simple and greatly appreciated.
