Shabbat Message for December 4
December 4, 2015 | Roz Blanck
On Sunday, November 22nd, 120 volunteers came together to deliver 500 Chanukah packages to seniors throughout our community. Many generations attended this special event.
Here’s a note from a recipient of the package:
“Please extend my gratitude to the Tikkun Olam Volunteers. Their Happy Chanukah cute box filled with goodies represents more than just the contents of the box. They represent hope for the future of people everywhere, and the gift boxes were made with love and give joy to all who are fortunate to be on the receiving end.” – AJ
Thank you and Mazel Tov to the TOV Chairs, Jennifer Freedland and Susi Schoenberger, and Associate Chairs, Sharon Resnick and Beth Snider, TOV Vice President Randi Sakwa, and the entire TOV Committee, for a wonderful program. We are looking forward to our next TOV events including Read Detroit in March, Bookstock in May, and It’s a Mitzvah in June.
