Shabbat Message for April 18

April 18, 2014 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

Dear WP Supporters,

With four Matzah eating days into our 8 day holiday, I hope your digestive tracks are adjusting well. Though, it’s been a quiet week at the Federation building and our Jewish Schools are closed for Passover, still agency activities continue to assist the needs of our community members. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts.

We send condolences and prayers to the Kanas City Community on the tragic shooting that took place at their JCC campus and Elderly facility. The three victims were not from the Jewish Community but the whole Kansas City community is grieving for their loss as hatred and racism must be abolished from this world.

I wish you Shabbat Shalom and continued enjoyment of Passover,

Lisa
