On Behalf of Lisa Lis, for June 14, 2013

June 17, 2013 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

On Behalf of Lisa Lis, Women’s Philanthropy President

Dear WP Supporters,

Our Federation office was graced this week with the presence of an inspiring young (newly) married couple who have made a two year commitment to work in Cuba with the 1,500 strong (and growing) Jewish Community. Through our funding to the Joint Distribution Committee, the efforts of Allie and Lulo have strengthen the Cuban Community with Jewish Education, Rituals, Music and (of course) Food. We applaud their efforts and your Federation contributions which allows these types of programs to exist.

Wishing you a Sweet Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Father’s Day,

Lisa
