Where do the dollars go? A look at Federation’s 2017-2018 Allocations Report

July 18, 2017 | Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

This year, our community is projected to raise $31.80 million for the Annual Campaign and $3.16 million for the Rose Family Challenge Fund —a truly remarkable achievement! But where exactly does that money go?

Behind all of Federation’s fundraising efforts is a strategic and thoughtful allocations process with dedicated professionals and lay leaders working year-round to ensure that the needs of our community are met and that the future of Jewish Detroit is bright. From supporting the work of our partner social service agencies, to programming that engages and inspires the next generation of Jewish Detroiters, the dollars raised go far and wide.

Here’s a detailed look at what your generosity will do for Jewish people in Detroit, in Israel and around the world this year. Download the 2017-2018 Allocations Report.
