ORT AmericaWorld ORT is the largest non-governmental Jewish education and vocational training organization in the world. World ORT’s “Kadima Mada” (or “Science Journey”) initiative in Israel, in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Education, provides advanced science and technology education to students in Israel’s most under-resourced and under-served communities, primarily in the periphery. Its mission is to provide the skills and knowledge that enable students to become contributing members of their society. The Michigan region of ORT America raises funds to support the various World ORT Kadima Mada programs found throughout Israel.
