For every hour a volunteer works, Bookstock will donate up to $15 to TOV to allocate to literacy and education programs in the Metro Detroit area. Last year, TOV was able to allocate $6,000 to a variety of literacy and education non-profits helping youth at risk and their families. This is a wonderful opportunity for friends, family, and students to volunteer and help our community for a wonderful cause.

Volunteer activities include book sales, cashiering, and stock assistance. Community service letters are available for students.

If you are not able to volunteer on the 25th, you may sign up for shifts on any day of the sale, April 23-30, and specify that you are working on behalf of Women’s Philanthropy.

What is Bookstock?

Bookstock is a used book and media sale located at Laurel Place Mall at 6 Miles and Newburgh Roads in Livona. Proceeds from the sale support education and literacy projects in the Detroit metro area and beyond. The sale takes place May 15 – May 22, 2016.
