About The Volunteer Club

Formed in 1994 in affiliation with the Lubavitch Foundation, The Friendship Circle provides assistance to families with children with special needs, as well as support to individuals and families in situations of isolation, addiction, and other crises.

The Friendship Circle's Morrie & Sybil Volunteer Club is the largest teen volunteer club in Metro Detroit, with over 300 teens volunteering once a week and attending social functions on a regular basis.

The Volunteer Club, which provides assistance to families with children with special needs, serves a dual purpose. While helping others, volunteers themselves are empowered and enriched as their own moral character grows through the mitzvah of volunteering.
