About NFTY

NFTY instills Jewish identity, fosters commitment to the ideals and values of Reform Judaism and increases teens' synagogue participation. These goals are achieved in a framework that emphasizes the development of personal and leadership skills in a wholesome, social, Jewish environment.

NFTY places a high value on:

  • Bringing together congregational youth for meaningful Jewish communal experiences within the institutions of Reform Judaism
  • Affirming Jewish identity and the historical bond which unites all Jews throughout the world and in Israel
  • Awareness of social issues and commitment to religious action in the local community, the nation, and the world
