Jewish Community Center - Teen Programming

$36 for those belonging to a Jewish youth group. $72 for those who do not already belong to a Jewish youth group.

About JCC Teen Programming

The Jewish Community Center at the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Building on the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus of West Bloomfield, runs a variety of non-affiliated programs for Jewish teens, and the majority of these programs are athletically oriented. The JCC teen program is under supervision by either JCC staff or parent volunteers.

Membership Includes

  • Facility usage (including racquetball, squash, volleyball, pools, tracks, athletic fields, weight room, and the InLine Hockey Center)
  • Social summer pool parties

Special discounts on:

  • Classes (martial arts, weight training, aerobic/fitness, etc)
  • Sport leagues
  • Swim team

Maccabi Games

Jewish teens 13-16 years old are invited to try out for the JCC Maccabi Games that take place in the USA and Canada during August. Prior to the Games, athletes practice with their teams and take part in social events and mitzvah projects. During the Games, athletes stay with a host family, participate in Maccabi events during the day and enjoy social events each evening. Athletes also participate in a tzedakah-oriented experience.

Scholarships are available, and membership is not required in order to participate.
